what level were you at when you first beat the game?

I thought he was going to be really hard (first ff and all, thought there would be a major climax) so I was lvl99 and had beaten all weapons, I was disapointed.

I've yet to beat it legitly, but the last time I tried, I got all the way to the bottom of the crater at around level 62. I started over, and right now, I'm at the beginning of disc 2 (SPOILER)about to hand over the Black Materia to Sephiroth at around level 53.

level 91 with my favorite team(cloud,tifa,cid)and i beat sephiroth with two movements:omnislash,knights of the round.

When I first got final fantasy 7 (when it came out) it was my first rpg so I wanst very good. I completly overloaded my people with materia (to the point were I fought diamond weapon with 1000hp on all my players... and won on my second try) and subsequently got hammered by sephy. I leveled up to around lvl 60 before I beat him.

er,everyone but Vince was at level 99 (well, vince and yuffie, but i never use yuffie so :: shrugs :. Beat Sephiroth with Tifa,Cloud, And Vincent. Took forever,too. Oy.

Level 51, and it took me quite a bit of effort to beat Safer. My best summon was Neo Bahamut. :x_x:
