i would just go with colored contacts. it sounds alot safer than "dyeing" you eyes...i wouldn't do it. but that's just me. I love the color of my eyes...they are normally grey/blue but when i'm outside or in certain light they turn the color of the sky...![]()

The insane risks far outweigh the positive aspects of the treatment.

Why don't you convince your optometrist to give you the real stuff? It's used for marking out the contours and venules/arteries in your eyes.

They're putting the dye into their contacts, and then the contacts into their eyes, which is almost as bad.Originally Posted by ShlupQuack
metro, what did you expect everyone to say? This method is dangerous. You could get infections and quite possibly lose your vision permenantly. And you dont have to have bad vision to wear colored contacts, they make versions that merely have the color.
I think when I was younger my eyes were red...but only because of a freak accident that poked a hole in the eyes and blood rushed into them. Fortunately the eyes came out as good as before.
Eyes are the only, or one of the few, organs/body parts that you can replace with just about anybody's, unlike kidneys where there are obvious complications. So go see a doctor or something...maybe they can help replace your eyes with someone else's.
I HATE having brown eyes and have always wanted blue eyes, but I would never be willing to take such a risk.
Never, ever do anything to your eyes without medical approval. Especially not something that sounds permanent, like trying to recolour your iris. Experimentation is the worst, most painful way to find out what not to do.
Always seek the advice of a qualified professional on any matter like this.
