It's possible, in Episode 4+. They'll probably be mentioned or something...

Yes, chaos is related tp Wilhiem a lot. They are enemies... for some reason choas doesn't want him to summon Able's Ark(don't ask me what it is >_>).

Does Shion find out about the testaments (Kevin)?

No, only Ziggy knows about Voyager...

Albedo isn't a tragic villain is he?

Well, in a way, Albedo dies...

does Jin make an appearance - or, better yet, have a major role in episode 2?

Yes, he is playable, and you have to use the final strike on Margulis when you fight him both times with him. ;o

I doubt this. As I understand (SPOILER)Xenogears takes place about 10,000 years after Xenosaga, which is 4,000 years after our present day. Probably through the events of Xenosaga, I hear it actually does happen in Episode 2, we will see the ship containing Deus being launched. Remember, in Xenogears it is Deus and Miang that have been pulling the strings for eons, not to mention the fact that Fei has several incarnations before it settles upon the Fei that we know. The only thing I could possibly think of is that Ziggy's son is the original Fei, but we'll have to see, I guess.
