My friend told me this story, I dunno if it's true, but: This guy wants to commit suicide as his girlfriend left him. So he decides to do it in style. He hangs himself over a cliff (with the sea below), takes poision, sets himself on fire, and shoots himself in the head. However, the shot missed, hitting the rope and cutting it. This sends him plummetting into the sea, extinguishing the flames, and he is rescued, and vomits up the poison because he has swallowed a lot of water.

He died two days later of hypothermia.

I think that's pretty funny. I also think it would look cool in bullet time.
