Ok, FFVII and/or FFVIII... I go for FFVIII.

I voted for 9, just because the New Game/Continue screen music is so great. Though they did not win by lot, second was FF6.

Hmmm... yea, Terras theme is beautiful!!! And so is Kujas theme and You are not alone. A hard choise, really. But Extreme, Force your way, The stage is set etc are also very beautiful...

and as for FFVI, I think my favorite was the basic World Map theme in the WoB

That's the same as Terras theme... it's simply amazing. I have remixes of it that I can listen to all day.

There's, like, 5 or 6 songs from each soundtrack that I REALLY love, so it's hard to choose. Not the OST, though-the piano versions. They're much better, imo. But I voted for FF8...*shrug*

For not having Final Fantasy Tactics in that list, I shall not vote. Anyway, there you have it, I liked the one in FFT.

I'll go with FF9's soundtrack. Tons of great music there, and more orchestral scores than there are in the rest of the series together. Melodies of Life is also one of my favorite themes ever, and a great song. Using medieval fantasy music and bringing back a couple of traditional themes were also a nice thing.
