Can you really max out a character????

yeah i remember pulling my hair out with him. however i,d say once u reach fantastic stats only the Dark Aeons, Nemesis, Penance and Greater Sphere r any real threat in FFX.

and if u count the other FF games, the only big threats at fantastic level/stats r (SPOILER) Omega and Shinryu(ffV), Emerald, Ruby (ffVII), Ultima Weapon(ffVIII) and Ozma(ffIX)

so Greater Sphere really stands out 2 be in such a list ( this means hes Harder then the (SPOILER)ant from ffVIII Omega)

So true. By the way... what counts as fantastic levels in FFV? lvl 52 maybe?

yes anything over lv 50 . what lv were u upon first finishing the game? i was lv38-40. i,d trained abit too . ffV is just plain riduclous.

Yea, I was like level 38-40 as well. Each character had about 40% of the jobs mastered.

Curious, you can only modify the sphere grid once the game is over? Or..?

And once the game is over, you can still explore and do stuff right? Sidequests, etc etc?

You can modify the sphere grid at any time throughout the game as long as you have the spheres. You can do extra stuff right up until you enter the Tower of the Dead. Once you enter the Tower of the Dead there are no more save spheres so the game will just continue on to the final battle and ending.

I once completely redid the entire Shpere Grid to get all my stats to 255, then put enough HP and MP Spheres to get said stats at around 40,000+ and 4000+.

'Course, I sharked to get the necessary items and Sphere Levels (to move around), but it took over three or four hours to remake it and activate all nodes (I just kept using Master Spheres). Tidus is the only one who actually traveled the entire grid, the others just moved to the center .

That file is my cheat file, and I have a separate one for non-cheating.

why do you need luck anyway, i had 4 luck on everybody and i have beaten every boss in the game ( including penance)

Seriously? When I had less than 80Luck 40% of my attacks missed when figthing Penance. Even with 255 acurracy. You can't have had 4! ...Or maybe you had 500 accuracy?lol

High luck also means that it's a lot easier for the enemy to miss hitting you.

but if your other stats are high then it is not that much of a loss...well it was not for me

ok i have 2 try this Aim stuff cause i,ve never heard of penance being beaten with a luck stat below 118.
