Lead is indeed the most effective known substance used for shielding against the penetration of various waves.

    ¡Che! ¿Qué tal andás, boludo?

So you decided to resurrect. And post here! And then you got banned! What are you doing in Colombia, anyway? You were born in Argentina and killed in Bolivia. *sight*

Aaaahem. Anyway, about the whole lead thing, yeah, I heard it is a way to stop radiation, or something along those lines. However, my great source of information is The Simpsons, so I don't know if it's very reliable information, even if those series have really wise lines such as "Lisa, don't think, we already elect the politicans to think for us!".

Yeah, you are. But that is OK, because I am too.

And as for getting poisoned..I dunno, I think that is only if you get lead under your skin. I think.

We cannot operate in a world where everything is possible, for if that is so, what is stopping people from getting killed by invisible unicorn hippos? If we start to act upon false impulses even more than we do now, the result can only be chaos and anarchy. Why seek the Invisible Pink Unicorn when it is not needed? Why listen to the Invisible Pink Unicorn when it does not speak? Why pray to the Invisible Pink Unicorn when it does not answer? Falsehoods are infinite, while the truth is but one. And the Invisible Pink Unicorn is there, right beside the Invisible Purple Unicorn, and the Visible Pink Unicorn, the 0 against the non-existence of 1.
Completely nutty conspiracy theories and pseudo-sciences are indulgenses of man, a layer of useless fat, suitable for removal by Occam's liposuction.

Or simple banning will do the trick, sometimes.

This topic does indeed have some merit, that Nikola Tesla was into some pretty wierd experiments in his time like Death rays and such.

uh....I really hope the Shroud of Turin wasn't dated to 0 AD, because if it is it's about 33 years early. Anno Domino, In the year of our Lord. Ie: After christ was born, not when he died, which would mean the shroud was 33 AD. (unless i've gotten my dates mixed up, feel free to correct as needed)

As far as this dealy Goes, basic quantum theory pretty much sums up the complete destruction of anything but particles sent "through time", and if i remember correctly, it also states only Forward Travel would be possible. unless you are a prescriber to the Multiverse Theory, in which case the sailor coulda popped out the wrong hole and been yelling about the future of a universe in which hitler destroyed all of the allys and the only americans left are in a bunker conducting research. (bottom line, mega BS) ULTRA CYNICISM HEAPED UPON YEE!
