I was banned cos I spammed in Linus' spam thread. Oh that was a good time.
But I haven't done anything serious to warrant a ban, I dont see the point.
I like it here anyways.

I'm really scared I might get banned. I like this place very much, but quite often, things seem waaaay too strict, to the point it's ridiclous... and I'm scared I'll make one slight mistake, and poof, I'm out of here. I dread at the thought.

Amanda banned me for about fifteen seconds for submitting a still from 'Un Chien Andalou' in the 'avatars we should make for eoff' thread.

Yes, some things don't deserve second chances.
The only way to get banned without warning is to post porn, hack the board, or go on some major cursing/flaming spree. So there is no reason to 'fear' getting banned here. Anything else will get you a warning, and we'll tell you exactly what you did wrong so you know not to do it again.

Then who's to stop people who post porn on purpose from saying it was an accident? We have to draw the line somewhere. Just be careful when you link to an image, that's all. If you feel it might be not allowed, send it to one of us and we'll tell you if it is ok. Also see the thread Abom mentioned in Feedback for more on this issue.
If you want to know why a mamber was banned, feel free to pm a staff member. There will always be a reason, and for the most part we have no reason not to tell it to you. We don't allow threads and posts about it because that creates rumors, which often distorts the truth.
Don't be afraid to approach the moderators if you have any questions about anything. We're here to help, except for Shlup, who is just here to eat you.

I actualy like how it is way too strict around here. We don't want the forums to end up like the newgrouds forums do we? But a ban for life shouldn't happen on an accident. A year ban for first timers is what I suggest. Unless its an extreme case.
