Completely off topic here, but when you just said the word inevitable there I thought of the final boss battle from Ninja Gaiden 2.
Apparently there was a final battle track for that fight called "Inevitable" that was not released. The NES game simply has the regular boss music (used for the Ashtar fight in level 5) for that fight instead of special boss music. I really don't mind because that particular track in the game is much better than Inevitable.
With all that said and done I'm gonna join in in this deal and vote for Ifrit.

Bltizball is fun just get brother on your team and eigaar from on the ship and your set for an offensive line with tidus for the beginning you will own
oh and you only need crest to get past the damage limit for aeons....as for ifrit just check the locker in the aurochs locker room, get the world champ and boom you get him past the limit
