    Default Connections and isolations.

I've made a map detailing the connections between nations.

I started from cities, and plotted sea-ways and roads to other cities.

If a city is deep inland, I've created a "harbor" (not shown), near the city, where ships unload, and from where a road leads to the city.

I've tried to make the roads as probable as possible. I've taken the position that if a road would intersect a mountain, but that mountain ends to plain a little way from the road, the road will go with the plain, due to the difficulties with mountain-travel. Also, I've not plotted ridiculously long roads between cities that are othervise connected, like between Fellaėton and Grimmngad, or New Amani to Ryeonia.
Also, there is no road from Fellaėton to Ohne Wasser because a route from Elennanórė through the desert is much too long and deadly. For the same reason, there are no sea-routes on the coast of Desierto, because there are (none that I know of) watering and resting-places.
I have no plotted any roads to Canada or the empty region.

Then I drew lines between cities that are connected. Which gave me this:

Seems that poor Atlantica is the most isolated nation. It is separated by 3 (2, after Canada sets a capital) nations from the next intersection, which lies in Vincentland.
The busiest seatravel happens on the sea-areas between Verdantia and Eisgaea.
The longest route is that which leads to Provo, in Mulletopia, from Verindain in Vania.

So, what do you say? Any complaints, corrections?

I was a bit confused when I first saw it but I understand now. You did a good job Nait.

THE OCEAN ISN'T ON THE MAP. THAT'S WHY ASKED: "IS THERE AN OCEAN THERE?"

BoB and I both agreed that the ocean on each side of the map is as large as the Pacific.

Edit: Nait, change Canada's name to New Canada.

Apparently, I have been declared banished.

Do we know the shape of the world? If so, is this a Mercator-projected map? If so, then it should be noted that areas near the poles in Mercator-projections are distorted to be far larger than they actually are. (Ever see those maps where Greenland is three times as big as Australia? Yeah, that's what happens.)

Yeah, I know this is the third time I posted this, but I feel it's that important of an issue. Sorry.
