Target: Washington (State)
I just found out today that Bush has decided to target my own state, Washington, for the upcoming election. This means we will probably be innundated with even more pro-Bush commercials than before.
Annoyed though I am at this, I am not particularily worried.
Washington has not voted Republican in the last twenty years. Though there is a strong Republican base in Eastern Washington, the cities, such as Seattle, where most of the population is, have always been extremely liberal.
Frankly, I don't know what Bush thinks he can do here. I've seen so many anti-Bush demonstrations and such I don't think he has a chance. My favorite probably would have to be the effigy of Bush that was driven down a street downtown with paper flames at the bottom, amidst the cheers and laughter of those in the streets.
I don't think my state is large enough to decide this election, and I don't think he's going to win it. What about you guys?
