The level-up ability used to give a character say 1300 EXP for only 1000 EXP from the monster. It no longer does, even though all characters have learned Level Up and the symbol is being shown as 3 golden stars on a red stripe.

The increased amount of Exp. isn't shown on the post-battle screen, which might explain why you haven't noticed an increase in experience.
For example, when fighting a Grand Dragon with Level-Up equipped, the screen will say you've earned 8,000 Exp. when in fact you get 10,000. It's rather a silly omission, but don't worry, you are getting the extra experience.
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."
Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
The problem is when it says 8000 Exp that is exactly what I get.
You said you have to have Level Up equipped, but I learned the ability and shouldn't have to equip it right?!
you have to equip it
When you've learned an ability, you no longer need to wear the equipment that taught you the ability. However, you still need to equip the ability to be able to use it.Originally Posted by FinalBob42
