CloudySky, just because some of us didn't like some things in some of the FFs doesn't make this thread a FF Hate thread. We can dislike some aspects of a game but actually like the rest of it.
For example, I was pretty diappointed about Necron, but FFIX is among my top 3 favourite of the series.

I STARTED this thread, so I GET to say what it's about. this isnt for hating FF, nor bashing it. it's for discussing parts of the games we love which simply annoyed us or we didnt feel comfortable with, consider it market research.
people say they hate random battles. i had this conversation with a pal...he started saying he hated random battles because he was killed by monsters, then he said he hated having to level up, then he took it to hating minigames and having to defeat bosses and fighting at all. i pointed out - all he wanted to do was watch the story and movies, yeah he replied, i said why not go to the cinima then.....you bought a sodding video game, what did you expect.
X2 is a perfect example of square careing. theres many people, like mattel, who just stick two fingers up at fans and cancel everything. with square fans are given a choice. if you dont like FFx2 then sod off and dont play it, there are those of us who do. no one makes you play a video game, you have the choice
Jolts, that race in FFx, first time it took me seven goes. when i played the game the second time to try the expert grid, i did the chocobo race first timethat said i couldnt do the lightening strikes and they did peev me off royally, maybe minigames should offer a fan prize, like getting a character from a past FF or a weapon from a past FF

one thing i don't want again in ff is a villian thats either extremely feminine wehn they are MALE (kuja)or a bad guy that's not really the bad guy (seymour)

oooh, i kno i kno pik me!. the one thing that shud NEVER be in another ff game is blue magic. how many times have u used kimahri, quina, or any blue mage. im not hatin against it, but seems kind of a crappy way to learn skills.

Lon... Zidane is far from being a wimp. He went wherever Garnet/Dagger went without hesitation. He went to Garland's base without wanting anyone around.

no more blue magic, no more chocobo racing, no more atb. sorri, don't hate, but i thot that the ctb was a lot easier and more strategical than just pounding on your enemies as much as u can, hoping you win cuz u leveled up a bunch. i'm with mo-nercy on this one, i'm a sucker 4 deep luv stories, but how about a light luv story this time?ooooh, and how about making main characters a little bit older. it's kinda weird having teenagers running around saving the world. let's have main characters with a little more background

You think Seymour would understand. If someone wanted to die they would kill themselves. Thats what I dislike about final fantasy x,x-2 villains.
