If you thought I was making a joke about the proper roles of women in the 1950s, you are correct.
The joke is also funny, because in my household, my dad is the cook, and I've cooked for my girlfriend numerous times (while she has yet to do so for me)...and no one I know (of either sex) is good at cleaning.
