I don't lie. I just use my extensive, flexible vocabulary to make the truth seem like something it isn't. When you do that, you aren't really lying, so its impossible to get caught 'lying'. Also, for me, this type of dishonesty gives you this arrogance when you do it, so it makes you seem like you know what your talking about.
Some people have unconscious traits that can give it way when they're lying. For example, many people raise their eyebrows or furrow their forehead when they say something untrue, others may nod, or shake their heads slightly. That sort of thing...
As an illustration, watch Bill Clinton's forehead in the infamous "I did not have sexual relations with that woman..." speech.
Sometimes I blush when I lie. At least my nostrils don't flare (like Mia's in the Princess Diaries! >=o!), or something REALLY obvious like that.
I'm pretty good at lying, because I've never been caught in a lie before. I don't lie often though.

I don't lie, but I do in fact tell an exaggerated version of the truth.

It depends what I am lying about.
If it's something important and if I don't lie about, I get in trouble, I think of a lie instantly and I say it good. It helps to stare the person in the eye, cause a liar will usually stare at the floor or something.
If I'm trying to prank someone, and I say something like, say "Oh no, my brother fell down the stairs!" I'll usually crack up laughing and that gives it away.
I tell the truth as much as possible and on the rare occasion a lie needs to be told, I'm a good liar, therefore I dont get caught.
But on those stupid lies where you break out into a cheesy grin and start laughing half way through, I end up with a cheesy grin and start laughing

yerp thats me i have an akward, uncomfortable look on my face. i try not to lie as i suck at it. plus i blush when people call me out on it (or when i'm hiding something).what a bourke....
