Yeah, yeah, I know. Cheap rip-off (And anyone who mentions Ehrgeiz WILL get forcibly dismembered). But heres the deal. Take old Final Fantasy Characters, make new ones, and make them into Melee-ish characters. Simple moves, that kind of thing.

Special: Javelin (Charge for more damage)
Special + fwd/back: Heaven and Hell Smasher
Special + up: Phoenix Rising
Special + down: Dragon Dive
Grab + up: Sleeper Hold
Grab + down: Copycat (Replaces Javelin with the captured character's special move)
Grab + fwd/back: Dragon's Breath

Kathy
Weapon: Staff
Special: Light Field (Short range field. No defensive properties)
Special + fwd/back: Ray of Light
Special + up: Baton Twirl
Special + down: Crystal Shield
Grab + up: Kinesis
Grab + down: Giga Twak
Grab + fwd/back: Exorcism (Blasts an enemy away with a force beam)

Dax
Weapon: Gladius
Special: Can o' Whupass (Combo-able)
Special + fwd/back: Rage Slice (Chargable)
Special + up: Star Blade (Jump/Uppercut-ish)
Special + down: Shin Cutter
Grab + up: Shield Carry
Grab + down: Meteo Blade (Smashes enemy into ground)
