10% then add a buck - or - double the tax. Whichever's easier to calculate. If paying by card round off such that the cost of the tip plus cost of meal is an even dollar amount.
My parents do most of the tipping as i rarely go out anywhere to eat without them.
However if and when i do tip, it all depends on the service. If i get crappy service, ill give like a nickle, jsut as to let them know they suck. Ill tip normally if the service is good, or if its great ill tip even better. and if the waitress is really hot i will tip higher because im dumb like that.
When I get a haircut it's 12.40 or something, so if I'm paying with cash, I give 15 and that's that, if it's debit I'll tell her to put on an exta two dollars.
I never ordered a pizza, myself, or even at my house I think. We live pretty close to a few places, and stuff.

Many thanks Christmas!

I know that around here servers make like, 2 bucks an hour, so I always tip at least 15%. I tip more if we hold up the table for too long, or if we order cheap stuff and 15% of the bill comes out to like, 2 bucks (it’s not the waiter’s fault I just wanted water and my friend didn’t want dessert).
I give the pizza guy about 5-10% because I always assumed that the delivery charge was his "tip", but this thread has debunked that theory, so I'll tip more from now on.
Not realy, the Slovak currency isn't worth much.Originally Posted by Triple T
