maybe in the fluffy worlds of say ffX-2. but in the hyper dark ffVII, i think they did. this same world had a brothel in midgar with rooms like the **** room and the "group" room . imho, they definitly got it on.

I don't think they did. They've never had a huge problem being explicit about sex in FF games (dirty magazine, FFIV, the child born out of wedlock in FFVI, the honeybee inn...), so I don't see why they wouldn't have shown more than Cloud and Tifa sitting together. Maybe you've just got a dirty mind. Tell me, did you also think Mukki was doing sexual things to Cloud?

not nessacrily,it depends on the context. but the signs are there. i know what i would do if the world was going to end and my love was with me.

Agreed. Also, that kind of behaviour seems inconsistent with their personalities.

Neither of those two is really like that at all.

Besides, there are two different ways that scene can go - depending on who Cloud dated at the Gold Saucer. Tifa's reaction is less serious if she wasn't Cloud's date; but either way, nothing really suggests more than some snuggling and maybe a comforting kiss.

but u see, if they did *do it*, it would have been beautiful love making. they clearly were more or less an item at that point. what is inconsitent in their personalities about lovers showing their feelings?

where has this notion that its illicit sex and they would not do it cause there not bad dirty ppl come from?

As far as i,m concerned they made love that night (oh yeah, her reaction can be less serious...but its not if u date Aeris. i dated Aeris 4 times, but Tifas reaction has varied).

But they didn't actually open up and say what they felt... it was always obvious that Tifa cared for him, but it's less certain whether Cloud's fondness for Tifa was of the same type. He cared about her, certainly, but it's uncertain whether it was love. It's possibel that Aeris had completely captured his heart. But either way, I don't think they'd be the two to rush into things so quickly. They're both very sensitive, cautious individuals who keep their emotions inside as much as possible.
