Its a file share program from what im told. i never used to download anything until my friend showed it to me and i decided to download it, now i cant get enough (even though my computer is as slow as a constipated pig). So how many of you out there have or have heard of SoulSeek? I love it, its the best thing i have ever seen. Though i do wonder how safe it is from viruses....

Soulseek is the best p2p for individual music files. I use it all the time. I don't think you can get viruses from mp3s.

I prefer BitTorrent, but I'm more about big stuff than music. I really prefer paying for music, personally. Seriously, I do.

I had SoulSeek for awhile but it didn't do much for me. I usually use Bit Torrent or Kazaa.

I find SoulSeek a neccesity for rare files. I spent over two years (off and on) looking for Japanese punk on WinMx and Kaaza and all I could really find was Melt Banana (who rock, which is not the point). Then I was directed to SoulSeek where I found oodles and oodles of what I wanted. Ever since then, it's the only p2p I use.

Not to mention it seems to be the only place I can find to download Meteor Garden. xD

I heard of it after I got my username, and I'll not be giving it up.
As far as P2P, Ares is the only way to go, so long as you have PeerGuardian2.

I seem to have a bad habit of reviving dead threads.
