Define Irony...
Imagine my surprise when I was looking through the paper. A famous mountain climber, who blazed trails in, among other places, the Shuswap, died the other day.
How, one may ask? He sustained fatal injuries falling out of a tree trying to save a cat.
Ironic, no?

omg!!!well yes that would be ironic, and very tragic.. but 4 a sec there i almost choked cuz i was laughing so hard. but b4 im percieved as an asshole, lemme send me regards 2 his family :shame:
Oh, I agree. I felt bad for him and his family, but it is definately an odd twist to end one's life...

Well, it said he was trying to save the cat. If he died, he probably didn't. My condolences to his family, and the cat's.
I got the impression the cat came out of it okay. Not sure about that though.

It was Ironic, but sadly amusing and I do send regards to his family.
