Actually, I like black backgrounds. You might call it two-bit, but I think white backgrounds suck. It also comes down to who you want to appeal to. FF fans aren't exactly white-background-loving people, and black backgrounds are generally accepted by them. That's why Baloki and I aren't going too far from Cid's design - I'd hate for EoFF to lose itself like that, and I really do think that "going corporate" would lose us more fans than it'd gain us. I really hope we don't end up with a white background.
I don't know how much I can say while Cid is my boss, but I really do hope that we don't change too much because what we have works well for us and has done for four years now. Still, I trust his judgement. I think.
