Every damn Final Fantasy.
Well, I did kinda go along with the story. But at the end it's never anything near what it was at the beginning.
Most games I play are opposite of that. They start of slow but then pick up as they go on. Rarely do I play a game that's dynamite at the beginning but then starts to fade.
The only example I can think of would be Final Fantasy VIII. I enjoyed the story up to about Fisherman's Horizon, then it went downhill from there.
To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
THIS is the ultimate team.
