Christianity is divided into three (four if you count the Gnostics) branches:
Catholics, Protestants and the Orthodox church. Each of these has their own divisions.
Now. By your argument, Martyr, that Catholics aren't Christian because some Catholics have very separate beliefs seems to have a lot of holes. I could use the same arguments for saying that the Protestants or the Orthodox aren't Christians either, but they most certainly are. As a matter of fact, Catholocism, along with Gnosticism was the FIRST branch of Christianity, and when they basically wiped out the Gnostics, they were the only Christians until the Byzantine Empire, which was Orthodox, and followed by the Protestant (or Lutheran, depends on how you look at it) church. They are all still Christian.
*clears throat*
Sorry for the history lesson, but for some reason it irritates me when people say *insert denomination* aren't *insert religion* when it is obviously true.
