Is there any way to use the PS2 or Xbox to browse the web?

I know it was possible to do with the Dreamcast, I did it quite often. The problem is that the Dreamcast does not have a port for cable, only for a phoneline.

It would be great to have another modem with internet access around. I fiddled around with the PS2 and Xbox earlier today trying to figure out if they had this. It's kind of puzzling that the Dreamcast would have a web browser and the PS2 and Xbox would not.

Any input? I'm not too keen when it comes to hardware.

PS2 and XBox were not ment for online web browsing, just for web gaming.

About a month before the DC died they redleased a broadband adapter for it.

theres no web browsing for the ps2?!?!?!?NOOOOOO!!!!!i thought initially there was supposedly email and downlodable(?) stuff. theres no way?*grunts* i don't kno much about the ps2 since i got it the beginning of this summer. web browser!!!!!!!!!

If you can browse with Xbox and PS2, the value of the computer would drop a ton...

I believe you CAN actually get mail through the PS2 if you have a Playonline account. I'm not too familiar with it yet but you can supposedly access email through it.

And as far as this dreamcast broadband adapter goes...

I've never heard of it. Do they still sell it? About how much does it go for?

Action replay comes with a instant messenger now, dont know how it works because my ps2 is not online. never heard of any web browsing for either though.
