I would like to echo the sentiment of Dingo, about certain classes only being offered certain semesters. Though I'm not IN school right now (still taking classes for those of you who read my thread in EoEo that one time, but it's complicated), I wanted to take a newswriting class in my Sophomore year, just to stay ahead of myself. However, it was only going to be offered in Spring '05, a term that I'd already had packed full of other required courses. And nothing could be juggled to Fall '04. I was angry. Not that it really matters now; I'm just going to do it this summer. Yay summer school!
