I've decided that I would like such a world, provided I can use a large mechanical cat or moogle or something to go around and do my dirty work. That way should it ever happen to go inside some massive temple that happens to shrink while you're still inside it, I can just send out a new mechanical cat/moogle and carry on my way.

I like the idea of beating the snot out of defenseless animals and managing to pick up money and other items from their bodies which faded into oblivion.
Other than that, I'd say no. Especially if we have to look like the rejects on VIII. Or Squall.
