My world is final fantasy-ish. I am fighting an evil corporation called Halliburton.

Actually, I think it would be underpopulated, if anything. We'd all just be concentrated in a handful of towns, some of us would set up shops for a living, and others would do nothing but make friendly conversation with the same two or three lines again and again.

I'd rather be born, go to school, work then die than kill things.

I dunno, most of those worlds only have 15 towns. And they only have like 10 houses. The whole world would have a population of about 200.

    It'd be awesome.

I'd go out and level and crap. I'd kill monsters for money. There would be quests to give life meaning, and nobody would suffer the indignities of old age (No way anybody would have to live past 40. And who wants to anyway, right?)

The only problem is that, with so many monsters providing gold, and so many courageous pople who'd rather fight than produce, the economy would be total crap. I imagine that gold would eventually become worthless in favor of things like steel and the actual ability to make weapons. Or farm. Or make those cabins that are so small that 99 will fit into your pack before you need any extra space.
There would have to be specific laws in place to make sure that certain people lived their lives in a certain manner. Like, no more adventuring, especially if you're unsuccessful, after the age of 30. Or something like that.
The government would have to be communist.

But, generally, it sounds like a lot of fun. maybe something to experiment with.

Edit: Hmmm... If there wasn't a world government, then it's be anarchy. It'd be a total disaster zone. A horrible world to live in.

What I think we really want is to know what it really feels like to slay a monster.
