But Vincent's also an athletic sort of chap, leaping about the place like he thinks he's in Crouching Tiger. There's also that highly cool picture of him perched on a rooftop in front of the Shinra Mansion.

So I figure there could be a bit of everything - unarmed combat, gunfighting, leaping ledge to wall.

I got the feeling that its going to be more of an action game then an RPG, but as long as the story is good I will be happy. and yeah i hope Vince has transformations and ONLY uses his gun (it would seems wierd to see him with a sword or something). it also wouldn't feel like final fantasy if it was a fps i hope its a 3rd person shooter if it is an action game.

To make a sequel to FFVII, one of the best RPGs ever if not the best, wow all I have to say is GOOD LUCK.

And just because Vincent has a gun why does it have to be a shooter/action game? I think the gameplay should be similar to FFXII or maybe it could be exactly like FFVII, if not it certainly would have to be revolutionary to be able to top FFVII.

I want a dark, hellish, action/adventure, third person shooter style game. Think Devil May Cry. Or Kingdom Hearts but more serious.

Can't you just imagine Vincent running around Midgar like Dante, shooting the crap outta everything? A monster jumps down on him, you hit a button and the corresponding direction to roll out of the way. You press a shoulder button and automatically lock on. The camera swivels around ever so perfectly. Oh no, the monster's too far away. Bolt2 mutha fugga! Stuff the victory fanfare, there's a whole world of crap to kill. But wait. The body hasn't disappeared yet, better make sure it's dead, you might as well make use of that damn gun anyway. 4-5 clips later, there's more bulletholes than body, so you decide to move on. Repeat until game ends.

I want it to have the same sinister mood that FF7 had but I want to be able to play someone with a gunblade too. I also want Cid, Red, Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Rude, Reno, Elena, Reeve and Rufus (it's not confirmed that he actually died) to be main characters too because there really isn't a game without these characters. I want a much harder and evil final boss, soundtrack music done by Nine Inch Nails, Limp Bisket and Korn (I really have the feeling that the music is going to be 'gothic' because of the vampire thing), a pissed off Ultimate Weapon that tries to attack Vince because he whooped it's ass, more coverage on the whole Cetra stroyline, more character development with Vince, Rude, Reno, Reeve, Rufus, Cid, Red and Barett and for Lucrecia to come back begging Vince to love her and him telling her to " off you ho you ain't getting none of this, you missed your chance". And I also want Vince and Elena to fall in love *sniff* that would be so sweet!

I have a really really good feeling this game is going to be like an extremely fast paced version of Metal Gear... Sort of like Devil May Cry, but with guns and an intuitive aiming system. I think this has been done before, but I've not played any of these games. I see this game being very fluid, fast paced, fun, and god I can't wait to see those transformations.

by the way, limp bizkit sucks. and korn sucks now too. sure, they were good back in the day, but they've long since lost whatever it was that made them good. and if I ever heard them in a final fantasy game, I would be pissed. but its ok, cause that would never happen. leave the ff music to nobuo, you dumbass.

To me Limp Biskit basically just sounds the same as they did in their first album and there's nothing wrong with Korn now they also just basically sound the same as they did in the beginning. And don't you start flaming me for having an opinion it's only music, it's not the end of the world if a band you don't like is chosen to do the soundtrack for a game you're playing. Wow. This is probably the first time in my whole entire life that I'd rather have a conversation with a cheerleader than a rocker. Meh

ACTION RPG! yeah! I love them! where you can fight in real time but still lvl up like sword of mana...man I love that game! And a great FF7 spinoff story on vin's background..I wish he wasnt hidden to he coulda been used in the movied in the game....

When you are fighting the Final Boss whoever or whatever it may be i don't want another version of OWA i want a totally new kick-ass final boss composition.
