Default Home Improvement - Did it even make the UK?

Skykotik: If only I knew who Tim Taylor was. Sadly, I don't watch DIY shows :-(
    DanieLoony: ...Home Improvement?
DanieLoony: Tim the Tool Man Taylor?
    Skykotik: Never heard of him
    DanieLoony: With his assistant Al?
    DanieLoony: ...
DanieLoony: You have GOT to be kidding me.
    Skykotik: Nope
    DanieLoony: *shakes his head*
Skykotik: ...I think you've been spending too much time with Unne.
DanieLoony: Maybe they never screened it in the UK. That is so sad if that's the case.

I can't believe Psy has never heard of it. Please, someone from the UK, tell me they showed it over here. I can't believe how much crap TV you guys have to put up with and yet this isn't even a known program?

    I miss Home Improvement now.

They did show it in Norway, so there's a big chance they did it in the UK. The neighbour is obviously the superior character :freak:

I missed the only episode Wilson showed his face in. >:O

I love that show though, we hardly get re-runs anymore.

I've seen it, many an episode.

They used to show it on Channel 4, 6pm, every night many a moon ago.

btw... did you know there was a fan site that spliced together pieces of his face from different scenes, and managed to come up with a nearly complete view? (still a spot on his nose or something they NEVER showed once) lol

I think they show Home Improvement on the Disney Channel at about 10pm or something. I do remember it though.

That show was great. I remember the time he launched a grill way out there like a rocket. Priceless.

Technically, if it was crap, British television would have put it on during peak hours on one of the main five free-to-air channels. That seems to be the general strategy. Most Brits actually agree with me on that, last I checked.

your right it was, but as it wasn't homemade rubbish they didn't continue showing it.

I guess it's a matter of opinion but I still don't see how anyone could not like Home Improvement. It was great on so many levels.
