Erratic loading times

At seemingly random intervals, EoFF just starts to go extremely slow for me. It happens now and then, often after I've been at the board for a few minutes. I normally browse using the 'archive' feature, but even that get affected.
The problem's not with my internet connection; other sites are unaffected.

It's been doing it to me too. Since I'm on dial up it's pretty bad, a lot of pages time out while I'm waiting.

Yeah, happens to me too. I just restarted the http server and things are blazing fast again.

Site was down for me for a few minutes, but now it works. Still having the slowdown as well.

Everything is slow for me, but yeah, oftentimes it gets as slow as a old man's gangster flow. And times out.

Apparently mod_bwlimited is loaded in Apache already, which is what you'd need to do this - I can't find any documentation on how to configure it though. Maybe Unne could help here

Well, thing is that I'm on a unmetered 20mbps server, and we've only used a max of 11mbps or so... so really html/mysql should really be loading no problem.

It's been okay for me until today, when I couldn't access the forums (but still the main page, weird).

The server speed itself is probably the limiting factor...running a busy forum takes a lot of juice, and vBulletin is known to use a lot of resources.
