Yes, forgot about Fenrir (since the only game I've seen him in is FFIX...didn't get far enough into FFVI).
My favorite creatures are wolves (preferibly, grey/tundra wolves) and dragons (the kind with wings...not the snake-like kind). So it's only natural that those are my favorite. Also, my favorite elemental is electricity, so there you have it. Any summon to do with electricity, wolves, or dragons are my favorite. I liked Anima too, for the sole reason of it being evil on the good side.

actually Knights of Round won a recent tournment with all 64 summons in it. So they are the offical top dog.
Of course they are my personal fav too.

The only reason everyone voted for Anima against Fenrir in that tournament was because they all felt sorry that Anima had to face such a tremendous foe

Golem has typically been quite an excellent summon.
Yojimbo from FF10 was a fairly unique creation.
And finally, Alexander from FF6. Short summon sequence and looked quite cool.

That doesn't matter here. Just because they finished at #1, doesn't mean that they're EVERYONE's favorite. So there.
Anyway, I also liked Gilgamesh from FFVIII. Appearing randomly throughout battles and whatnot, but the only downside is that I've never seen anything other than Excalipoor from him(not including what he uses when you first see him).

That depends on wich version you play. In the PAL and International versions of FFX, Anima did 16 hits. If they all did 99,999 damage, then Anima would win, by far, in terms of damage delt (a whopping 1,599,984 damage in one attack!). Of course, I can't back that up, as I have the U.S. version, so you'll just have to ask somebody with the PAL or International version(s), or just trust this link, which is where I got my information.
my best summon was bahamut because he looked so awsome bu the most powerful had to be knights of the round from final fantasy VII

I hope people dont base their choices on which ones do more damage. Seriously, KOTR? for crying out loud, it's just 13 guys whacking something one after the other. How could it possibly be more boring or uncreative?

My favourite summon would be ifrit from 7 & 10- it melts everything in its path!
