The Commercial
Did anyone ever see the television commercial for this game? It was pure genius. It was a cheap parody of a singles / psychic / phone sex commercial with purposely bad cheesy actors and Ritz saying "But you may not use my sword or my magic without asking, they are dangerous" I have this commercial on my computer and I watch it religiously because it's brilliant. If you haven't seen it, download it.
I remember in one iteration, if you look carefully, you can catch a brief glimpse of a life-size moogle puppet.
It's like finding Waldo infinity times over.
It's not bad, I guess, except they pronounce Marshe, "mar-shay."

I doubt they used the wrong pronounciation on purpose. It's not like any average person would have noticed and found it funny. Besides, they pronounced Ritz, Mewt, and Ivalice correctly.
"My name is mar-shay!" If you don't find that funny, well then, I pity you.
Even if it were funny, they didn't intend it to be particularly so, simply due to the pronounciation.
