Maybe the bahamut thing could be a new Weapon......and since it's a dragon, it oculd a kind-of-counter part of Ultima weapon, and could be Omega Weapon. Ultima weapon was a coward dragon, and this could be an "I smash everything to ashes" dragon.
I'm just supposing....
And maybe Cloud flying is related to the dragon.

I think Cloud's limit break is rushing to counter Bahamut's mega-flare, as in the trailers it keeps switching back and forth between Cloud shooting upwards and Bahamut spewing giant blue flames.

Yes, Cloud shoots up into the air. You can see it at the bottom right corner of the scan at the beginning of this thread. They say he's using a limit break.

yeah! Bahamut was cooler in FFX version. i never play these 2 series, but i've seen a lot of screen caps. everywhere. and i know exactly that Bahamut was much better and cooler in FFX (maybe it's because of the graphics, isn't it?)
If I had to guess, I'd say it's Zero. He was the only one who shot a blue laser/flame, right? Bahamut has blue flames spewing from his mouth in the trailer.
Meh, I liked the old-school Bahamuts more than I liked FFX Bahamut, Bahamut Zero being my favorite. Another thing that points to the possibility of that monster being Bahamut is how the silver-haired guy(I forget his name) summons him, or does something that looks like he summons him.
