    Default Star Ocean magic/symbology

    Hey, I just bought Star Ocean a week ago and I just got Maria. The only characters with magic are Fayt, Nel and Maria(not a lot though) and I'd like to know where to get the items for symbology. Do you win them in fights? Boss battles? Do you invent them(if so, is it alchemy, or cooking, etc)? I'd really like to have more people with magic. :/

    EDIT: Oh yeah, this is a game by Square-Enix. Sorry. :o
