MP trick
I've found an awsome MP trick that with always leave you with a lot of MP. Link KOR or Master Summon with MP absorb (You get it in Wutai). It's that simple, KOR takes a lot of MP but with MP absorbyou'll regain a lot of MP 'cause it hits the enemys 13 times, same goes for master summon. It works really well against the Weapons and the last bosses!
This also made me think of something. Connect an elemental absorb and a master magic and put it on your armour. Every elemental attack will not hurt you.

why can't master magic and elemental absorb b equiped with eachother
The game developers (as well as I) think it'd be cheap. ;\
Just like KOR can't be paired with Quadra Magic, or Mega All with Final
Attack...etc etc.

ah i c i c. make sense for it not to work
KOTR costs 250MP, while the max MP of a character is 999. Have you tried equipping the HP<->MP materia? I can't remember for the life of me whether or not this worked.
Mega All can't be paired with a support materia because it's an independent materia itself.
Sorry, what I meant by the Mega All thing is that it won't affect anything
that's paired with Quadra Magic...or Final Attack.

Quadra magic does not take 4X the mp cost, it only takes 1X. I believe KoTR doesn't work with it because it would be cheap, like Opt said.

Ah, yes, that does make sense. Who would want to sit through four KOTRs each turn, anyway...That'd take hours.
