Default Finding really, really rare files?

Specifically music, I've been looking on WinMX and Emule for some stuff, and didn't find what I was after...

The short answer is to look harder. Since P2P depends on people having the file you want, you just need to look in more places.

Soulseek is a pretty good one.

I use mIRC fileservers. #mp3passion on Undernet for literally any song you could ever want. There about about 300 users about half of which have around 30,000 mp3s each.

Okay, that chan seriously kicks ass I found 3 variations (from different albums that weren't ever released, I suppose) of the song I was after.

    Thanks o_O!

You'd better not try. @find works a little too well in there.

Actually, I tried it yesterday, and I didn't get any response at all Either that, or I guess music from Japan isn't too popular in there?

It's easier to be vague and sift through alot of results, if you're after something rare. I still can't find some of the songs I was after, but it did get me more results then SoulSeek or other p2p clients.
