    chaos: Hmm... quite a lot of good choices here... Both Shadow and Auron were mysterious, and great characters nonetheless...

    Rubedo: Cecil was great before we went paladin as well...

    chaos: I think we'll go with Locke. He was just heroic, and a large part of an epic story.

    I say Cecil, what Cecil has done, hasn't been achived by any other FF-character. Turning from a Dark Knight into a Paladin. Expect for the once from FF Tactics and FFTA afcourse

    Has to be Cecil for me.

    (SPOILER)He disregards all the evil he has come to know from a dark knight being a dark knight. He transforms into a shimmering paladin and saves his girl.

    That's exactly what I wanted in a heroic main character.

    To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.

    Definitley Squall. I liked him from the very beginning, whereas all the other main characters (of the games that I've played) all had to grow on me over time. Plus, he's just a cool guy. *shrug*

    Zidane is my social idol.

    I am fairly obsessed with all the male leads in these games because they're such well-done characters, but right now I'm feeling Marche-ish. I thought the story of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was slightly watered-down, and Marche solidly held it together. I enjoyed his dialogue. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them. Squall is an important figure in my life.
