I would have it with the next generation characters. Like I would have garnet and zidane's kid and all the others. and they would have to fight necron because he's trying to destroy life. It'd be a 30 hour game with no side quests.

Wait a second, didn't Zidane and party (SPOILER) kill Necron at the end of the game? I would have (SPOILER) Kuja actually survived in the Lifa Tree and is trying to kill Zidane/Garnet's kid, assuming Zidane (as a genome) can actually have kids.

Necron is immortal, after beating the game he tells you that. So even after you kill him he can come back over and over.

I find it curious that Vivi managed to have kids. Lots of 'em. Maybe it'd be good if someone explained that.

Ok. Here is the problem. Necron didnt die for one, he just said that he changed his mind and won't destroy the world yet. Remember, the last thing he said was that he will always exist so long there is life and death, since he is immortal. Also, kuja died becouse his limited life span was up, so he cant just come back. Maby if that girl (Zidane's sister, something that starts with M) went evil she could be used, becouse remember, she has the same power as kuja and zidane. I wonder what zidane and daggers kid would be like. Would it have a tail and a horn? (Remember, dagger's was removed.)

Well....if Final Fantasy 9 would be recreated...I would like to see Zidane & Garnet getting married....then Zidane became King while Garnet become Queen of Alexandria.....Also Steiner & Beatrix join forces to protect them together....while freya & fratley are now in love ....again...(since fratley lost his memory...so they have to start all over again). Amarant & Lani are now best friends & Eiko also befriends with Vivi(she's no longer being mean to him). Qiuna is now happy coz' s/he can eat all the food s/he wants since s/he is working as a chef at Alexandria Castle....
That's my story...also..in case you guys out there are wondering....the world is now a safer place....so there's no need to go on a battle or war becoz' there's no evil villain in my story.....The End.....so do you guys like my story? (;p)

i'd have zidane and garnet marry and have kids but zidane runs away because he is starting to have weird memories (like of kuja and Garland about terra and destroying gaia) Garnet goes to look for him with help from both steiner and beatrix and kids!! zidanes sister helps too. maybe zidanes controlled by necron?? dunno!!!and blah blah blah they win everyones loves eachother!!! hurrah!!!

Yeah Freya was my favorite chracter. a whole societry of dragoons =ownage.WE should have the remake focussed more on Freya.

Okay, this is weird, but... Garnet and Zidane leave ruling Alexandria to Steiner and Beatrix, and they move to Madain Sari with Eiko and Amarant and possibly Quina, and there they settled down and later have to fight off dangerous underground monsters that mutated from the mist but were never discovered. I know it's a little vague and weird, but it could happen, I guess...

Like I said in the prequels and sequels thread I created in General Final Fantasy, there are two FFIX-related games I would like to see. The first one would be a prequel about the adventures of Tantalus. The second one would be a sequel starring Freya and Fratley. An all theif cast and an all dragoon cast = ownage.
