This lag is getting extremely frustrating...especially when trying to moderate posts and threads.

Yeah, the lag is horrendous right now; if I can even get to the forums at all.

I'm having the hardest time keeping ahead of Leeza with illegal posts.

Initially it would seem good to move the avatars out of the database as well to improve speed (since DB avatars add 30 extra database connections per topic page) , but that would probably be a bad because a lot of people would start remote linking.
