Grin I can't upgrade the router firmware

    *story mode*

We replaced the switch with a router, but the router's setup doesn't have UPNP. Thinking that it has something to do with the 2002 firmware version installed, I downloaded the firmware upgrade. There were two versions, and I got them both. Running the utility, I clicked upgrade, only to watch it stay at 0%....

It says this at the bottom, if it means anything relevant:

    NOTICE !!

    - Currently, this Firmware Upgrade utility support only IE 5.0 and above.

    - If the file dialog does not appear after pressing 'Browse' button, you should try to set lower security level in the 'Tools/Internet Options/Security/Internet&Local intranet/Custom Level/Java Custom Settings' of your browser.

    Java is installed.

Are you sure it's Java? If it's requiring IE5, it might be some kind of crazy ActiveX crap. Are you using IE? Did you lower its security settings? Follow the directions it gives, there is no one set way to upgrade all routers' firmware.

Well I thought maybe it has something to do with security in IE, but the darn thing won't let me lower the security below medium (which is good I suppose).
