Who Forgot Pancake Day?
Every bloody year. I want pancakes, I need pancakes, I love pancakes, and yes I know that realistically I can make them whenever I want but it's just not the same if it isn't pancake day.
The sad thing is, it's Friday and I've only just realised.
Once again, it's passed me by.
All the excitement of Shrove Tuesday made me forget.

Shrove Tuesday is it's official name. It marks the beginning of lent. I think. Really it's biblical origins are of no interest to me, it's all about the eating.
I remembered pancake day, but sadly didn't have any pancakes. I guess that's a bigger sin than not remembering it at all
Well, battered pastry with jif lemon and sugar does get a TAD repetitive after the first decade.
