    Default RPGMakerXP

    Does anybody have any step by step directions on how I can make a game with this? I wanna figure out plotscripting and how to make sprites (I can use paint but I need to know what format to make them and what dimesions). Show me a site with step by step directions if you can, please.

    RMXP is a bit different from the others (i.e. 95, 2000 and 2003), it uses the Ruby Scripting language, so you might want to look up that stuff. Sprites can be in *.gif format or *.png format I think, I haven't exactly looked into this RPG Maker recently - last I heard was RPG Advocate translated it and is trying to crack the software protection.

    Anyways, hope that helps a little.

    What about step by steps on 2003 version? I was hoping to use XP because I can use MP3s for sound and music.
