I myself prefer dubbing to subtitling, but I will admit they won't be better. Off hand Sailormoon immediately comes to mind as something that is far better subbed than dubbed.

IMO subtitles are always better.
They don't screw up the voices, they don't prevent you from learning
other languages and jokes are always porly translated.
And you don't get a chance to understand the jokes if it's dubbed.
Here everything is subtitled except movies for children(sometimes they're subtitled too).
It feels perfectly natural to see a subtitled movie.
You just need to get used to it.

And Sailormoon sucks no matter how you translate it.

Ok do you know what happened in "Sidste Time"? What was up with that movie? Whenever the kids inside looked out of the building, they didn't see anyone, but there were tons of people outside.. and who was the killer? :/

I'm glad you like those films... Also Lasse Spang Olsen is a very different Danish director. I don't think there's anyone like him, at least not in Denmark.

It's kinda old now, I guess. I think it was made in 1996 or 1997. That prostitute from Nattevagten is in it. I don't remember her real name, but her name in Nattevagten was Joyce.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Ringu are brilliant, as well as Chinese Connection, Return of the Dragon and Fists of Fury.
