It's the new system. I think it's something like the cards summon memories of allies or whatever. I've not gotten to play it myself, that's just what peoples have told me.

You use cards to attack, summon, cast spells, or use allies, like Kingdom Key, Fire, Simba, or Goofy and there is power-up cards like Shadow that boost your weapons level by 1. The card's level is whether or not it's strong enough to break your enemies cards if used at the same times. Card breaks are if you or your enemy use a card at the same time the higher card wins if you use a level 8 card and your enemy uses a level 4 card you break his card leaving him wide open and you attack, if you use a level 3 card and your enemy uses a level 7 card you get broken and are left wide open. the cards range from 0 to 9 if you get a zero it can break anything as long as you use it a bit after your enemy uses his card.

here's sum new info, the theme song for kh2 will probably be 'gravity of love' by enigma, and it kinda makes sense, cause the end of kh2 will most likely end up (SPOILER)with soera, kairi and riku getting back together and such...

from what ive seen of auron in kh2 (im not sure if this is the right thread to be saying this in) he looks like the younger auron that you see in the jecht spheres and memories in ffx

Wow, this thread has gone entirely off-topic. But to answer your question anyway, the GBA KH game is not a GBA version of KH2. It is it's own game and it uses cards. KH2, however, does not.
