    Default The Final Presidential Debate

So, who all watched the last of the US presidential debates. Who, in your opinion, won this debate, and do you think it is going to make a difference this November? I personally think John Kerry won the debate yet again, and I hope it will make a difference in the upcoming election. Anyways, so what are your thoughts?

chaos: Same here, John Kerry dominated.

Rubedo: He had our vote before, and he has it now. 'Nuff said.

I agree. I actually got to watch most of it, and I don't think I'm surprised to find Bush dodging a couple questions and such. John Kerry answered a question about the minimum wage, and after he answered, Bush was to answer, but he only mentioned something about some bill then changed the subject to his "No Child Left Behind" program.

Anyway, overall, I think Kerry won, as he acted confident in what he believed and didn't bother to dodge any questions his way.

Easily the least interesting of the three debates, as few if any new ideas were announced. I thought Kerry did a fine job, especially in clarifying himself and shutting up all those annoying Right Wing Spinsters about the "World Test".

This goes for both parties, can we do away with the Spinsters and just focus on actual issues?

Bush, as always, seems to be confusing these Debates with Republican Rallies, where everyone there is told they must laugh and cheer after every sentence. He kept looking around the room, seeing if anyone was laughing with him to no avail. He also tried to work in some cheap shots, specifically one about the Media, which crashed and burned. He started out with what seemed to be a gameplan of smile no matter what, but once again, he looked tired by the end.

I, truly, from all the research and the like I've been doing of late see this race steadily going in Kerry's favor because more and more people are registering to vote, which usually means they aren't satisfied with the country the way it is. The other point to make that's obvious is the skewing of what the polls mean. Right now, Kerry is leading Bush by 1 or 2% nationally, but these polls were only taken into account through people who have voted before. If as many people as it seems are registering right now, they won't be accounted for in these national polls, but I think, it will show come November 2nd and it will spell a win for Kerry.

    Take care all.

I might have conceded that the first debate was a tie, but Bush certainly won the second and certainly certainly won this one.

According to national polls, Kerry won the first 2. He probably won this debate tonight, since I thought Bush did a lot better on his 2nd debate...seeing how domestic issues are KErry's strong side and Bush's weak side.

In the history of the elections, no president has ever won office after losing 3 debates, since polls were taken.

Might have conceded the first debate was a tie? Bush got his ass kick in ALL respects. It was no where near a tie.

These last two were a tie though.

I will say this since I was serious in the last two.

    BUSH IS A DIP POOP!

I said it. Now all we have to do is hope the packers beat washington. If that happens then it spells a win for Kerry.

I so want to post my 'Love the South' picture I made. That picture is hilarious.

I only saw the last 5 minutes or so of this one, but the things Bush said about women and religion really bugged me and scared me at the same time.

I love what Kerry had to say though. I missed the second debate and watched all the first one, and yeah Kerry definitely wins my vote, if I vote that is.

I thought the first debate was a tie, and Kerry whooped Bush's ass in the last two. I also thought Cheney dominated over Edwards the entire night, even though most people called it a tie. I don't know how ANYBODY can sensibly say bush won ANY of these debates. Anyone who says that can't be thinking straight, in my opinion.

Bush's blatant lie that he never said he wasn't worried about Bin Laden that much is pretty bad.

I think Kerry won all three handily, but I also think Bush is a moron and a disgrace to the Presidency and the United States, so I have a hard time being objective.

I saw some of it, and Bush didn't seem to be representing himself that well.

Kerry actually said something tonight that rather impressed me. He may have said this earlier, but I haven't seen most of the debates, only bits and pieces. It was something along the lines of while he personally believes that abortion and homosexual marriage are a bad thing, he felt he did not have the right to impose his personal beliefs on others, and that it was between them and whatever higher power they might look to. That reflects my view so perfectly that I might even come to like the guy.

Bush certainly did better on this debate, no question. Kerry was tired and somewhat dead on this one.

You know it's strange. Everyone has a different perspective.

I could swear that Bush did a great job and Kerry sucked but others could swear exactly the opposite.

It is very interesting how each of us has a completely different perspective.

In most polls I've seen so far, the Kerry/Bush/Tie percentages are about 40/25/35

In this one, Bush most certainly looked better. Yes.

And I agree, Kerry did look rather worn, and less energetic than his last two debates.

In regard to how they looked, I'd certainly say Bush won.

In regard to what they said, and although, again, I'd say Bush did better than his last two performances, I would give the debate to Kerry.
