Something cool i've noticed (Squall and Lagun related spoilers)

You've all heard the roomers about them being (SPOILER)Father and Son or some realtion Well here's a coincidence if I ever did see one.


They both have water realted names!!

Squall is a storm at sea. And I think Lagun might be a river or something (Note that "Loire" is a river it self!)

Laguna's name has two inspirations.

• Tetsuya Nomura has a thing for Laguna Beach, California.
• In Japanese, Ragnarok is spelled ra-gu-na-ro-ku. The first three syllables there, ra-gu-na--"Ragna"--can also be transliterated as "Laguna." This ties into Laguna's relationship with the spaceship Ragnarok in the game's plot; it could even be construed that the people of Esthar named it after him.

And don't forget about Raine.
