Random Question about MVP Baseball 2004

This is something that has always really bothered me. Where is Barry Bonds, and why is "Jon Dowd" on the Giants instead of him? And why does Jon Dowd have utterly, utterly ridiculous ratings? Like, Babe Ruth ratings. He won the NL MVP Award 5 straight times in my Dynasty Mode. Who the hell is he?

Dowd is the compensation to the Giants for Bonds. Bonds isn't in the game because he is not with the MLB Players Association, whose licensing the game has. Feel free to moan.
