well i think Silent Hill (All) is one of the best horror games out there, my fav is Silent Hill 2 And 4 (the Room). Its a much more believable game, not that i believe in monster freaks, but when you have a nightmare anything could happen, this game shows that! what do you think.

I liked SH2 the best, that one just made me feel like I needed to wash my hands after I did something. Yes that games environment does give off a creepy nightmare setting, I remember having nightmares that looked just like the surroundings in that game when I was a kid.

I loooove SIlent Hill. They are fantastic because they actually require you to think, rather than get the story spoon fed to you.

The only exception I've seen would be Silent Hill 3, but I think it's hard to keep the plot secret when the main character is the center of the plot. I'd elaborate, but it'd spoil a lot...
