My list includes...

1.) Kefka's demented circus theme. Got to love this saddistic theme especially when he's in the process of killing mulitudes of people.

2.) Dancing Mad; All four tiers combined. This has got to be the best final boss music in all creation. Plus it so perfectly fits the game and who the last guy is. I would love to find an orchrastrated version of this, anyone know where I can find it?

3.)The Rebel Army's Theme from FF2j, especially the orchrastrated version.

4.) Tina from FF6, the orchrastrated version.

5.) Troops March On, the orchrastrated version from FF6.

FF6/3-Decisive Battle,Fierce Battle,Edgar & Sabin, Shadow, normal battle.
FF7-One Winged angel,Those chosen by the planet, Birth of a god, Fighting, still more fighting....
FF8-The landing, Force your way, man with the machine gun, maybe I'm a lion.
FF9-Ambush attack, Hunters chance, Jesters of the moon, Dark messenger.
FF10-Seymour battle, Attack, Battle theme, Suteki Da Ne, sight of Spira, otherworld...

the name your looking for is Overture. FFVIII has some brilliant music it even makes 6's music seem horrid

8 does have some great music (mainly because it was truely the first orchestrated soundtrack in the series) and so does every other ff for that matter.
