    Default The Return Of Sinclair

    What's your take on this?

Frankly, this smells in the same way that "Swift Boat Vets" did a few weeks ago to me.

Seeing as how "Swift Boat Vets" was orchestrated by John O'Neill, a top Nixon aid in Watergate, I find it hard to believe that anyone could view what they have to say as truth. What it was, was another in a long line of Spinning and Political Dirty Laundry that was aired in public, which I am frankly tired of and feel needs to be done away with.

Sure, Sinclair has a right to free speech, but free speech also means equal speech and you cannot completely skew what you may have to say in one direction if you are claiming to be serving the public. I all but guarantee that if some Liberal talking head made a special lambasting Bush and wanted to air it, the frenzy would be exactly the same, so here's a solution, let's get rid of all of this and for once, focus on ISSUES.

We are facing a defining moment in our country's history. I heard a great analogy today from an elderly combat vet on PBS who said that not only was Iraq beginning to look like Vietnam, but America was looking like the early 1970's all over again, where no one trusts anyone anymore. The only way to solve this problem is to actually deal with what's happening and try to fix the problems instead of continually putting up smokescreen after smokescreen and diverting our attentions elsewhere.

    Take care all.

The Bush administration is growing desperate because they see the writing on the wall. These criminals will stop at nothing to "win" this election.

I'm only nineteen years old, and the events of Vietnam are only things I've studied and been told about. But the similarities between our time and that time has been apparent to me for sometime. I couldn't agree more with you, Cap'n.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

Here's what I don't understand... Why is anti war activism a bad thing? HOW could it even POSSIBLY be a negative thing? What I like best about John Kerry is that he was against the Vietnam war. I truly hope that people are not stupid enough to let this kind of crap sway their vote. All I have to say is that George Bush gets reelected, then America DESERVES George Bush.

To me this comes across as the conservative version of Moore's documentary. More political mud slinging, yipee.... Was bound to happen sometime...

Big deal. The only thing that is going to happen is they are going to get a flood of e-mails asking and bitching about where their program is and why it is not being show. When will it show and stuff like that.

The other half will be praise.

Maybe the networks will take away their affiliation and build their own broadcasting station in said towns for doing this sort of thing. Who knows???

This whole thing is stupid as hell.
